A refreshing and lightly sweetened iced London Fog latte made with Earl Grey tea, vanilla, maple syrup, and unsweetened almond milk. This easy-to-make iced beverage is perfect for a cool, aromatic treat using simple ingredients and is ideal for warm weather or whenever you crave a chilled tea latte.

Ingredients

Tea Mixture

  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 Earl Grey tea bag (or 1 teaspoon loose Earl Grey tea)

To Serve

  • Ice cubes
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk (or more, to taste)

Instructions

  1. Simmer: Add 1 cup of hot water to a small saucepan along with 1-2 tablespoons of maple syrup and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat, then remove from heat once simmering.
  2. Steep Tea: Place 1 Earl Grey tea bag into the saucepan with the hot mixture. Allow the tea to steep for about 3-5 minutes depending on desired strength, then remove the tea bag. Let the tea mixture cool to room temperature.
  3. Pour: Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the cooled tea mixture over the ice. Add ½ cup of unsweetened almond milk to the glass and stir well to combine all flavors.
  4. Serve: Enjoy your iced London Fog immediately while cold and refreshing!

Notes

  • Cold Foam: For a fancy variation, substitute unsweetened almond milk with cold foam or a dairy-free creamer of your choice to add a creamy texture.
  • Unsweetened Almond Milk Alternatives: You may use alternative dairy-free creamers such as vanilla sweet cream or oat milk according to your preference.
  • Make Ahead: The tea mixture can be prepared the night before and stored in the refrigerator for convenience. You can also scale up the recipe to make a larger batch for gatherings.
