This Carrot Cake Smoothie is a delicious and nutritious blend that captures the warm flavors of carrot cake in a refreshing, dairy-free smoothie. Featuring carrot juice, frozen banana, almond milk, and vanilla protein powder, it makes a perfect quick breakfast or post-workout drink with a hint of cinnamon for a cozy touch.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • ½ cup carrot juice (store-bought or freshly made; I used Bolthouse Farms 100% carrot juice)
  • 1 frozen banana, cut into chunks
  • ¾ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or any non-dairy milk of choice)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4-5 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Place the carrot juice, frozen banana chunks, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, vanilla protein powder, ground cinnamon, and ice cubes into a high-powered blender.
  2. Blend Smooth: Blend all the ingredients on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick for your liking, add a splash of almond milk or carrot juice and blend again to reach your desired consistency.
  3. Serve: Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately for the freshest flavor and best texture.

Notes

  • You can use store-bought carrot juice or make your own fresh carrot juice for a more vibrant flavor.
  • Adjust the thickness by adding more liquid (almond milk or carrot juice) if needed.
  • This smoothie can be customized by adding nuts or seeds for extra texture and nutrition.
