A delicious and quick Blackstone-style Beef and Broccoli stir-fry cooked on a Blackstone griddle, featuring tender flank steak, fresh broccoli, and a savory homemade sauce, served over fluffy white rice.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 2 pounds Flank Steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch (for marinade)
  • 3 Tablespoons Cold Water (for marinade)
  • 2 cups Broccoli, chopped into bite-size pieces
  • 6 cups White Rice, cooked

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Rice Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Steak: Place the thinly sliced flank steak in a ziplock bag. In a small bowl, stir together 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and 3 tablespoons of cold water until smooth. Pour this mixture into the bag with the steak and seal it. Massage the marinade into the meat and refrigerate for at least 20 to 30 minutes to tenderize and coat the beef.
  2. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your Blackstone grill to medium-high heat. Once heated, spread the 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil evenly over the grill surface to prevent sticking and promote even cooking.
  3. Cook Beef and Broccoli: Place the marinated steak slices on one side of the grill and the chopped broccoli on the other side. Cook both for about 3 to 4 minutes until the beef is nicely browned and the broccoli is tender yet crisp. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  4. Prepare and Add the Sauce: While the meat and broccoli cook, combine 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 3 tablespoons brown sugar, 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, and 1/2 cup soy sauce in a small bowl. Pour this sauce evenly over the cooked beef and broccoli on the grill. Toss everything together to coat well, then cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes to heat through and allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve: Remove the beef and broccoli mixture from the grill. Serve immediately warm over 6 cups of cooked white rice. Enjoy your flavorful Blackstone Beef and Broccoli!

Notes

  • Flank steak works great for this recipe; skirt or sirloin steak are excellent alternatives if preferred.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days to maintain freshness.
