Perfect for parties, game days, or a tasty appetizer.

Ingredients

Big Mac Sauce

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • ½ tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon white pepper

Big Mac Burger Filling

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ½ cup finely chopped onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Sliders

  • 12 count Hawaiian rolls
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Sesame seeds, for sprinkling
  • Pickle slices, as needed
  • 1-2 cups shredded lettuce

Instructions

  1. Make the Sauce: In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, Dijon mustard, granulated sugar, white vinegar, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and white pepper. Mix thoroughly, cover, and refrigerate until ready to use to allow flavors to meld.
  2. Prepare the Slider Buns: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a serrated knife, slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally in half. Brush the cut sides with 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Place them cut side up on the baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 4–5 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook the Burger Filling: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and finely chopped onions. Use a spatula to break up the meat as it cooks. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste. Cook until the beef is fully browned and the onions become translucent. Drain any excess grease from the pan.
  4. Assemble and Bake: Spread a generous amount of the Big Mac sauce on the bottom halves of the toasted buns. Layer the cooked ground beef mixture evenly on top, then place a slice of American cheese and a few pickle slices over the meat. Replace the top halves of the buns. Brush the tops with the remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Return the assembled sliders to the oven and bake for 5–7 minutes, or until the cheese melts completely.
  5. Add Lettuce and Serve: Remove the sliders from the oven. Carefully lift the tops of the buns and add a handful of shredded lettuce inside. Replace the buns’ tops and serve immediately. Offer extra Big Mac sauce on the side for dipping or spreading.

Notes

  • You can make individual patties from the ground beef mixture shaped to fit the slider buns for easier assembly and even cooking.
  • For extra authenticity, try adding a thin slice of white onion if desired.
  • Adjust the seasoning and quantity of sauce according to taste preferences.
  • Use fresh sesame seeds to sprinkle for that signature Big Mac look and crunch.
  • Leftover sauce can be refrigerated for up to one week.
