  • 1 lb Brussels Sprouts
  • 2 cups Water

Seasonings & Toppings

  • 2 tbsps Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 3-4 tbsps Everything Bagel Seasoning (Trader Joe’s recommended)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Brussels Sprouts: Rinse the Brussels sprouts thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Place them in a medium sauté pan with about 2 cups of water.
  2. Parboil Brussels Sprouts: Cover the pan and cook the Brussels sprouts over medium heat for 8-10 minutes until they start to soften but are not fully tender.
  3. Mix Seasoning: While the Brussels sprouts cook, combine the grated Parmesan cheese and everything bagel seasoning in a small bowl and set aside.
  4. Drain and Cool: Drain the cooked Brussels sprouts and allow them to cool slightly. To speed cooling, you may transfer them to a bowl of ice water. Once cool, cut the Brussels sprouts in half or quarters, depending on size.
  5. Toss with Oil: Place the cut Brussels sprouts in a mixing bowl and toss with olive oil to evenly coat each piece.
  6. Coat with Seasoning: Add the Parmesan and everything bagel seasoning mixture to the bowl and toss the Brussels sprouts until coated thoroughly.
  7. Air Fry Brussels Sprouts: Transfer the seasoned Brussels sprouts to the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 375-380°F for 15-20 minutes, shaking or tossing the basket several times during cooking to ensure even crisping.
  8. Serve: Once crispy and golden, remove the Brussels sprouts from the air fryer and serve immediately for best texture and flavor. Enjoy your crispy, flavorful snack or side!
