Ingredients

Graham Cracker Crust:

  • 30 graham crackers, crushed to crumbs
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Layering:

  • 16 ounces mini marshmallows (about 6 cups)
  • 12 ounces milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix crust: Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and salt. Press into a 9×13 pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Add marshmallows: Top crust with 4 cups of mini marshmallows and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  4. Cool: Allow the bars to cool for 5 minutes to let the marshmallows settle.
  5. Add chocolate and remaining marshmallows: Sprinkle chocolate chips over the bars, then top with the remaining marshmallows and graham cracker crumbs. Bake for a final 10 minutes.
  6. Cool and slice: Let the bars cool completely before slicing into squares.

Notes

  • For easier slicing, cool the bars completely at room temperature for about an hour.
  • If your kitchen is warm, you can speed up the cooling in the fridge, but bring them back to room temperature before serving to avoid a tough marshmallow layer.
