Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillet, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season salmon bites with salt and pepper.
  3. Add salmon to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove salmon from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Mix honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice in a small bowl.
  6. Pour the honey garlic sauce into the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Return salmon bites to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
  8. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use fresh salmon for best flavor and texture.
  • Adjust honey and soy sauce quantities to taste for a sweeter or saltier glaze.
  • Serve with steamed rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
  • Can be made gluten-free by using tamari instead of soy sauce.
