Ingredients

Tomato Marinade:

  • Cherry Tomatoes (900 g / 32 oz)
  • Olive Oil (½ cup)
  • Garlic Cloves, Minced (6 tbsp)
  • Fresh Basil Leaves, Julienne (18 large leaves + extra)
  • Red Pepper Flakes (½ tsp)
  • Salt (1 tsp)
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper (½ tsp)

Pasta Salad:

  • Angel Hair Pasta (454 g / 1 lb)
  • Parmesan Cheese, Grated (1½ cups / 6 oz + extra)

Instructions

  1. Create the Tomato Marinade: Add cherry tomatoes, olive oil, minced garlic, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to a bowl. Toss gently, cover, and let sit for 30 minutes to 4 hours.
  2. Cook the Angel Hair Pasta: Boil salted water, cook pasta until al dente, then drain.
  3. Assemble the Salad: Combine hot pasta with marinated tomatoes and Parmesan. Toss gently.
  4. Finish with Fresh Basil and Serve: Add fresh basil, adjust seasoning, sprinkle with extra Parmesan, and serve.
