Garlic Butter Steak Bites are juicy, tender chunks of steak seared to perfection and tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce, making a quick and flavorful meal perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz steak (such as sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.
  3. Add the steak pieces in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan, and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to preferred doneness.
  4. Remove the cooked steak from the pan and set aside.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium and add butter along with the minced garlic to the same skillet. Cook the garlic until fragrant but not browned, about 1 minute.
  6. Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter sauce to coat evenly.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use tender cuts like sirloin, ribeye, or filet mignon for best results.
  • For a dairy-free option, substitute butter with dairy-free margarine or extra olive oil.
  • Try adding herbs like thyme or rosemary for extra flavor.
  • Worcestershire sauce or red pepper flakes can add a nice kick.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat gently in a skillet.
