Peach sorbet is a refreshing frozen treat made with ripe peaches, sugar, lemon juice, and water. It’s naturally gluten-free, dairy-free, and simple to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, peeled and pitted
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup of water

Instructions

  1. Start by peeling and pitting the peaches. Cut them into chunks.
  2. In a blender, combine the peach chunks, sugar, lemon juice, and water. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish or a loaf pan and spread it evenly.
  4. Cover the dish with plastic wrap or a lid, and place it in the freezer for about 3-4 hours.
  5. Once frozen, take the sorbet out of the freezer. Use a fork to scrape the sorbet and create a fluffy texture.
  6. Scoop into bowls or cones, and enjoy immediately!

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can mix in fresh mint leaves, mango, or substitute sugar with honey or agave syrup.
  • If you prefer a chunkier texture, use a food processor instead of a blender.
  • Store leftover sorbet in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
