Crispy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings are golden and crunchy wings tossed in a rich garlic butter and Parmesan cheese sauce, perfect as an appetizer or game-day snack.

Ingredients

  • Chicken wings – about 2 pounds
  • Garlic cloves – 4 to 5, minced
  • Butter – 4 tablespoons
  • Grated Parmesan cheese – 1/2 cup
  • Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Dried parsley (optional) – 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder – 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) if baking, or prepare oil for frying wings until golden and crispy.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture; this helps achieve a crispier finish.
  3. Toss wings in olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Arrange on a baking sheet or prepare for frying.
  4. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, or fry wings until crispy and cooked through.
  5. While wings cook, melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant but not browned.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in grated Parmesan cheese and dried parsley.
  7. Toss the cooked wings in the garlic Parmesan sauce until fully coated. Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.

Notes

  • Drying wings thoroughly before cooking helps achieve extra crispiness.
  • Wings can be baked or fried depending on preference.
  • Leftovers store well in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat wings in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes to restore crispiness.
  • Variations include adding cayenne pepper for heat or fresh herbs for freshness.
