These Air Fryer Garlic Butter Steak Bites are juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Perfectly cooked in the air fryer for a quick and easy meal, then tossed in a fragrant garlic butter sauce with fresh parsley. Ideal for steak lovers looking for a delicious, hassle-free dinner or appetizer.

Ingredients

Steak Bites

  • 1 ½ pounds boneless ribeye steaks, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 3 Tablespoons salted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F and let it preheat for 5 minutes to ensure the steak bites cook evenly.
  2. Season the Steak: In a large bowl, combine the ribeye steak pieces with olive oil, kosher salt, fresh cracked black pepper, and smoked paprika. Toss well to coat every piece thoroughly with the seasoning blend.
  3. Air Fry the Steak Bites: Arrange the seasoned steak bites in a single layer inside the air fryer basket—you don’t need to spray the basket with oil. Air fry for 4-6 minutes depending on your preferred doneness. For medium-rare, cook about 5 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 135°F. No flipping is necessary as the air fryer circulates heat evenly.
  4. Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: While the steak is cooking, melt the salted butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it. Stir in the fresh chopped parsley for a bright herbal note.
  5. Toss Steak Bites in Butter Sauce: Once the steak bites are done, transfer them to the skillet with the garlic butter sauce. Toss everything together for about a minute to fully coat the bites in the flavorful sauce and allow the steak to finish cooking gently in the butter.
  6. Serve Immediately: Plate the steak bites and serve hot to enjoy the perfect balance of tender steak and rich garlic butter flavor.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer to check doneness since the steak bites will continue cooking slightly after you remove them from the air fryer.
  • For different cuts, top sirloin, flank, filet, tri-tip, New York strip, or flat iron steaks will also work beautifully.
  • Try different seasoning blends like Montreal Steak Seasoning, Cajun spice, Trader Joe’s 21 Seasoning Salute, or BBQ seasoning for variety.
  • To reheat, use a microwave or skillet for best results; avoid the air fryer as the butter content may cause smoke or splatter.
  • Freeze leftover steak bites in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
